“A few years ago I purchased our Riccar vacuum here and the service was awesome. I just went in here this morning to see if they had a belt for a friend's vacuum…..had it, and Frank had the machine upside down and replaced the belt in 3 minutes. No labor charge, just $2.95 for the belt. No up-sell, just a thanks. Look, you can buy a vacuum or sewing machine at Fred Meyers, Costco, or Best Buy, but if you really want some help learning about the tool you're going to invest in (yep, I consider a vacuum or sewing machine a tool), you can't do much better than learning from these folks. They will also be here for you down the road if you need something. Solid store, solid people. Please shop locally and support local owners.” – Mike M., Vancouver WA
“I'm searching for a Janome Model 605 upper (main shaft) timing belt pulley. Now living in Louisiana where else do I call but ‘home'. I'm hoping Frank has stuck one in the corner just with my name on it! I won't give up on my sewing machine. Frank's always been the greatest!”– Ksassy44
“This is a great shop! The people in this shop have always treated me very well, and offer great service. I have had repairs done by them, and they were done quickly and well. I also went in with questions on how to accomplish a rolled-edge hem, and DeAnn sat down with me and gave me a demonstration… They helped me and wanted to help me be successful. I would not hesitate to recommend the shop.” – Jude in Brush Prairie
“Best store around! I am an avid sewer. I have purchased five sewing machines from Frank Smyth and would not go anywhere else. The after sales support is fantastic! Every staff member treats you like a treasured member of the family. The prices are always more than fair, and they exceed the factory warranty for service and support. DO NOT buy a machine from the big box stores. You will be sorry. Go to a reputable dealer who knows the machines. You will not pay any more, but you will get a better value for your dollars. Go see Frank and his staff!”- Lana W.
